Jardic Pro allows to use dictionaries converted from following dictionary types:
This group includes dictionaries supported by earlier versions of JARDIC software. File names of those dictionaries have .jrd extension. This group of dictionaries includes files created by users of earlier JARDIC software.
We don't recommend to use EDICT or KANJIDIC dictionaries converted for previous versions of JARDIC. You should convert original EDICT or KANJIDIC dictionaries for Jardic Pro as it is described in this document.
EDICT is a Japanese-English dictionary with more then 100 000 articles. It is a free dictionary distributed under conditions described in EDICT documentation. You can download latest EDICT version from Monash University Web page http://ftp.cc.monash.edu.au/pub/nihongo/00INDEX.html

JR-Edict is a Japanese-Russian dictionary with about 8 000 articles. The dictionary is distributed under conditions described in JR-Edict documentation. You can download latest JR-Edict version from Monash University Web page http://ftp.cc.monash.edu.au/pub/nihongo/00INDEX.html
Jardic Pro allows to convert EIJIRO dictionaries presented in a text format. Such EIJIRO dictionary files have names like: EIJIRO##.TXT, WAEIJI##.TXT etc., where ## - is a version number. EIJIRO dictionaries include English-Japanese EIJIRO and Japanese-English WAEIJI dictionaries with more then 1 000 000 articles. EIJIRO dictionaries are not free. You can download dictionary files from EIJIRO Web site http://www.eijiro.jp/, where information concerning payment conditions is placed. EIJIRO dictionary files were also published on a CD with "EIJIRO" book by ALC. For example, 2005 edition of "EIJIRO" book contained a set of dictionaries in text format in "EIJIRO" folder; 2002 edition of this book contained such dictionaries in self-extracting archive in "EIJIRO-Original" CD folder.
